Frye Island Golf Club
Frye Island Golf Club is located 25 miles west of Portland and as the name suggests is on an island…
Deep Brook Golf Course is located in southern Maine 15 minutes from Old Orchard Beach. It is considered the best nine hole course in Maine by many.
In 2002 it received honorable mention in Golf Inc. Magazine as one of the best courses built in 2001. It is rare that a nine hole course gets recognition but they called it, “A 9 hole gem.” Deep Brook hits the mark for providing a fun and first class experience in a small package.
From the white tees it is 2858 yds and from the blue tees it is 3109 yds (for 18 holes it is 5967 yds long). It is a challenging course and always in pristine condition. The course was designed by Brad Booth (who also designed The Ledges in York and Spring Meadows in Gray) and built by Joe Freeman. It has a great snack bar with good food and beverages as well as a stocked pro shop.
Deep brook has a rating of 69.5 and a slope of 126 for 18 holes
So come and take the challenge! We are sure you’ll enjoy it.
The Aroostook Valley Country Club is a golf course which straddles the Canada–US border, between the U.S. state of Maine and the Canadian province of New Brunswick. The club, located near Perth-Andover, New Brunswick and Fort Fairfield, Maine, has its course and clubhouse on the Canadian side of the border and its parking lot and pro shop on the American side. Although the course is located entirely on one side of the border, three holes are close enough to the border that crooked shots enter the United States. The club was founded in 1929; its position on the border allowed American golfers to bypass Prohibition without passing through customs
